Dharti Maa - Theatrical Play on Climate Change

The Brief:

In 2024, the Government of Punjab sought a distinctive and engaging way to raise awareness about climate change and the growing smog crisis in the province. The objective was to create a campaign that combined public education with entertainment, making the message accessible, memorable, and emotionally impactful for audiences of all ages.

 

The Idea:

An integrated awareness campaign was developed around an original theatrical production titled "Dharti Maa" (Mother Earth). The play personified the planet as a nurturing mother who teaches her children the importance of protecting and preserving their homeland. Through compelling storytelling and emotional engagement, the production inspired audiences to adopt environmentally responsible behaviors. The theatrical experience was further amplified through an educational awareness campaign, extending its reach and impact across communities.
